Well - the parade's not canceled - but our participation is because of today's rain.

So sad to announce, but because of the expected heavy rain to continue through the parade time this afternoon, we're canceling our participation this year. The parade is still going - and is a lot of fun - but I know my dog won't agree about the fun factor of walking down the middle of the street for an hour in the rain.

We'll try again for next year, and let's look forward to our one year anniversary coming up this May!

Thanks - I was just wondering if anyone was going to go or if there's going to be a parade at all.  But it would have been fun!

How do we find the group at the parade?

I'll be at a conference in Pittsburgh that weekend.  The parade is one of my favorites.  It's all inclusive, and if you have doubts about that wait till you see the Irish Step Dancers all of whom are Black and Indian!  It's a fun day, a sign of Spring and a chance to walk your dog past hundreds of admirers!  Sunnyside's dog run usually marches--we shouldn't be outdone by them.  Have a great parade!

Henna's being treated for Cushing's right now, but if she's doing well, we'd certainly go.
