A Dog Park in Jackson Heights, Queens.

JHCREW Meeting: Monday, March 22, 2010, 7PM @ Community Church

Hello everyone!

It seems progress is being made despite rumors of delays in the park's opening! If you haven't been down to the site (69th between 35th & 34th Ave), then I strongly suggest you check it out! Fences and signs are up, gates are pretty much installed - the only thing missing as of this past weekend are the benches, mulch and waste receptacles. Therefore, we will be having a meeting on Monday, March 22, 2010, at 7PM @ the Community Church, to discuss next steps.

At this meeting, I hope to have a better ETO for the run. We will also be finalizing the membership application and scheduling a clean up for the area, which is filled with litter. I just discovered thee future Dog Park and this site. I am curious to know if there are any more meetings coming up or a projected opening date for the dog park.

There will be an announcement soon about a date for clean-up of the site. As of the meeting, there was no opening date set yet.
